On Sunday we spent the day at my parents house. Everyone was there, Grandmother, Susan, Rob and Collin's favorite cousin, Caroline too. Collin just loves to watch Caroline no matter what she's doing. Well, today was no different. Caroline was showing us her dance moves and Collin was watching intently. Then he just started cackling, laughing non-stop and this went on for a good solid 10 minutes! It was the cutest thing and all of us were nearly in tears! Here's a small sampling of his laugh - this was toward the end, but still so funny!

Collin has been here for 6 weeks now, but I've been very behind on the blogging! I guess you could say I have plenty going on these days, but loving every minute!

On Tuesday, October 26th, I began the day going to the hospital super early and beginning my scheduled induction. Everything went fine during the day, but after I dilated fully and pushed for several hours, my doctor advised me that I would need to have a c-section since he wasn't dropping. So, off we went to the operating room for a c-section and the next thing I knew Collin was close to making his arrival. The procedure was a bit fuzzy for me, but I can tell you that Tim did an excellent job keeping me calm and happy and before we knew it the doctors we all remarking on how large our baby boy was. Looking back, it was kinda funny because all they kept saying was, "oh my goodness, look at the size of this kid" and "get that child on the scale!" Honestly, I just wanted to hear my baby cry and know he was healthy. Luckily, Tim was there to calm me down and confirm that he was healthy and had all his fingers and toes! I got to hold Collin while they were finishing up my surgery and just as everyone had promised me during my pregnancy, it was a moment I will never forget!

Welcome to our Reagan Shack Blog! I am hoping this is a good way to keep all our friends and family up to date on what is going on in our lives.

2010 has been a big year for us and we are just days away from a new addition to our family, Collin Robert Reagan. Tim and I both feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family surrounding us throughout this exciting time and really do appreciate all the love and support each of you has shown us.

Here are some pictures of Collin's nursery. Our theme is a light nautical/eastern shore look. I figured since Tim is away from the east coast, we could bring a little east coast to Collin's nursery. It was harder than I thought to find all things "blue crab" and in the right colors to go with his room, but I think it's coming along slowly, but surely and Tim reminds me that Collin won't care if his room isn't 100% complete when he gets home from the hospital...so true!
